Investment Options
There is 1 investment options which serve as a qualifier for the application to the Dominican citizenship-by-investment programme:

Preparation
- Sign a retainer agreement for NGE to act as your legal advisor for the application and legal process.
- Arrange a visit to the Portuguese embassy to attest some of required documents.

3-4
Citizenship application
- Transfer the investment amount and any applicable fees into an approved escrow account.
- Travel to Portugal and stay for two days for biometrics scanning.
- Submit your application, along with supporting documentation for permanent residence.

5-6
Contribution and other requirements
- Receive notice of temporary residency after fulfilling your investment.
- Receive your Portuguese "Golden Visa" permanent residency.
- After 5 years, you can then apply to obtain a Portuguese citizenship.
