Montenegro is a country located in Southeast Europe, bordered by Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia. Its capital city is Podgorica, while Cetinje is proclaimed as the royal capital city.
The official language spoken in Montenegro is Montenegrin, although Albanian, Bosnian, and Croatian are also commonly used.
Montenegro is a candidate for future expansion of the European Union in 2025 and is currently a member of the United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
